Irish Health Survey

IHS is the principal source of national data for self-reported perceptions of persons aged 15 years and over, and outlines their view of their health status – from how well they are feeling, to the extent to which they suffer from long-standing health conditions, as well as other factors

Purpose: The “Main Results” publication provides data and insights on various aspects of health in Ireland. The other publications in the series present data on the health experience of persons with disabilities and carers.

Coverage: National and NUTS 3 Regional level are available.

IHS data collection commenced in 2015 and is collected every 3 – 4 years.
